The Spiritual Formation Path emphasizes growth.

Spiritual Formation is the process of growing closer to Jesus and becoming like Jesus. This happens over the course of our lifetimes as we talk with him, worship him, and learn more about him. Our Spiritual Formation Path is a series of classes that help lay the foundation for a lifetime of walking with Jesus.

Spiritual Formation Environments

  1. Exploring Christianity is a four-week class for those who are curious about Jesus or for those who are struggling with significant doubts about the faith. We’ll have conversations about the goodness, beauty, and truth of Jesus while discussing concerns and questions about Christianity in a non-judgmental environment.

  2. Finding Your Place in the Biblical Story is an eight-week class where you’ll learn what the books of the bible are, how the whole thing fits together, and how to practice the basic spiritual disciplines.

  3. Build is an eighteen-week cohort where participants will learn how to connect with the person of Jesus through reading their bibles and praying honestly. The first half is a study through the gospel of John and the second half focuses on growing in our relationship with Jesus by integrating prayer into our personal lives.

  4. Contend is a nine-month class for committed Christians who want to know how to contend for the faith once delivered to the Saints; for those who want to be able to instruct in sound doctrine and refute those who contradict it. This is about both understanding accurately the content of the Christian faith and, more than that, it is about knowing God personally and intimately as he has revealed himself in Jesus and the Scriptures.

*We recommend, but do not require, that you take these classes in order; if you are already confidently a Christian go ahead and start with #2.
